Lineage and Mentorship
Asterian Astrology was restored and systematised by Jade Sol Luna, whose work reconstructed the lost system of Alexander the Great into a coherent sidereal framework. Jade is one of the world’s most successful astrologers, with a six month waitlist and numerous high profile clients.
I trained directly under, and continue to be personally mentored by Jade Sol Luna.
This system is not modern invention. Asterian Astrology is a revival of a star based cosmology that predates the seasonal tropical zodiac.
Why Asterian Astrology Is Different
The Problem with the Tropical Zodiac
Western astrology uses what is called “the tropical zodiac”. It is based on the seasons, not on the current position of the constellations. Due to axial precession, the Earth’s slow wobble, the zodiac has shifted nearly 24 degrees over the last 2000 years.
In practical terms, this means that most people are reading a sign that the Sun was not actually in at the time of their birth.
Tropical astrology does not follow the sky. It follows an old calendar used for growing crops. What makes a season-based astrological system yet more questionable is that the Northern and Southern Hemispheres have opposite seasons, yet these same 12 broad zodiac signs are applied to people globally.
Asterian Astrology Follows the Stars
Asterian Astrology is sidereal. It measures the true astronomical position of the constellations at the moment of birth.
